Gojira Blume Very organic doom! Haha. Get it? Organic? Because of the organ. There's an organ playing doom. Yup. Good stuff. All stops set to 11!

flightoficarus (Metal Trenches) With guitars, vocals, and organ as massive and imposing as the Great Old Ones, listening is utter subjugation.

Ädäm Alone the use of the organ makes this album more than interesting for me. "Church of Dagon" is indeed a very special doom metal album!

On an old graveyard long forgotten All dead men’s bones already rotten And here, in the gloomiest burial chamber Lies a book—mankind doesn’t remember Morbid words Cruel thoughts Gruesome truth Horrible knowledge When entering this eerie undercroft You feel a cold breeze blowing soft By reading the secrets written down Silence breaking whispers of your own Space turns into a creepy atmosphere All around ghoulish shadows appear You can’t breathe this air without pain Trying to escape from here in vain Any passage in the forbidden pages Reawakens a horror from ancient ages So, be warned and instantly hold on Don’t risk a look in the Necronomicon

Pater Dagon, mater Hydra Fons aeternus piscum et aurorum Iuramentum occultorum et fidelitatis Filii profunditatis sumus Church of Dagon (translation of “Ecclesia Dagoni") Father Dagon, mother Hydra Eternal source of fish and gold Oath of secrecy, oath of loyalty We are the children of the depths

Only degeneration rules in this place Can’t you feel the ghastly embrace? Various awful things here to find Which let you slowly lose your mind In this weird and decadent town Terror rises from dusk till dawn The streets deserted all day long But mysterious noises sound strong A disgusting stench of fish everywhere Completes this monstrous nightmare Dagon’s esoteric order—definition of doom Brought unholiness, evil and gloom From the church with the leaning tower Saturnine choirs at the darkest hour Wicked creatures came from the shore Known religions exiled forever more Innsmouth’s shadows constantly grow And spread their wings black as a crow

Burada gezen gölgeler Bir zamanlar canlı insanlardı Onların ruhlarının gezindiği yer Gölgeler alemidir buranın adı Gölgeler alemi ... Esrarengiz ve gizemli Bu ezeli karanlık alem Oraya herkes girmek zorunda Eğer onların zamanı geldiğinde Gelir karanlık da ebediye Gölgeler alemi ... Esrarengiz ve gizemli Realm of Shades (translation of “Gölgeler Alemi") The shadows walking here Used to be humans full of life The place where their souls are roaming Is called the realm of shades Realm of shades ... Mysterious and mystical Into this eternal sinister kingdom Everyone is forced to join When the time has come Eternal is the upcoming darkness Realm of shades ... Mysterious and mystical

about

The everlasting darkness has risen from the realms of the unknown and manifests in the “Church of Dagon”!

Burial In The Woods presents in its debut gloomy Black/Doom Metal with melodies influenced by both scales, the occidental and the oriental. This innovative approach evokes a dark, dense and creepy atmosphere.

Thematically, the first three songs are dedicated to the occult world of H.P. Lovecraft, the last track (cover song with Turkish lyrics) is about the realm of shades. How can this be better portrayed than with heavy down-tuned rhythm guitars, multi-layered lead guitars, a mighty pipe organ, real choirs and tons of details?
